Reflecting on her experience of entering the rental market after leaving school, Charlie and Paul’s discussion highlighted the complexity of the current rental market and why ensuring tenants (prospective and current) have the practical skills to manage their rental properties successfully is so critical.
The Tenancy Skills Institute has now delivered our free tenancy education courses to over 24,000 Queenslanders. All of whom, benefit from our early intervention approach, upskilling tenants to avoid missteps that may lead to failed tenancies and the risk of homelessness.
This week, we wrote to Premier David Crisafulli MP requesting his attention to our urgent call for the re-funding of the Tenancy Skills Institute. We eagerly await his response and look forward to working together to continue delivering vital tenancy education to Queenslanders in 2025 and beyond.
